We're hiring for one Full-Stack Developer

Algaurum is a quantitative trading firm with an unconventional mission. While managing approximately $40M in capital with a lean team of fewer than 10 people, we're committed to leveraging our resources beyond traditional profit maximization. Our vision extends to building tools and utilities that advance financial information accessibility, governmental transparency, and factual journalism.Our team is an exception in the world of finance, with the firm currently having 4 people all under the age of 25. We're young, and on the path to make a name for ourselves on a global scale as one of the greats.

The Opportunity
We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our founding team—someone who will help shape Algaurum's trajectory over the coming years. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds: computer science graduates, self-taught developers, or unconventional learners who demonstrate genuine capability and alignment with our philosophy.
This isn't simply another full stack developer role. We're looking for someone who believes that capital access carries profound responsibility, and who wants Algaurum to define a significant chapter of their professional journey.You will be tasked with building systems such as lastns by Algaurum, to building infrastructure for our Quant team. You'll be between domains, closely working with the CEO over a wide range of technical tools and developments.

What We're Assessing
Our interview process focuses on understanding you as a person—your learning approach, problem-solving methodology, and how you work with technology. We value intellectual curiosity, technical aptitude, and philosophical alignment over traditional credentials.Our interview process has multiple phases, each of which is designed to understand who you are and how you work. You will work closely with the CEO, our lead Quant as well as interview with our lead Trader.A phrase we like to use for our team is no dilution of philosophy. This means that every member
of the team has their own vision and goals, but the philosophy and ethics are perfectly aligned.Since we're looking to fill this role sometime in August 2026, our interview process will be spread over a month since our offerings are non-standard and easily exploitable if your vision and ours do not align.
If we feel that both of us are a good match, we will get you onboard as a paid intern till August 2026 to gauge your skillset.
